Hanuman's Heroic Quest: The Mountain of Life and Lakshman's Revival

Hanuman embarked on his journey to find the Sanjeevani herb. Meanwhile, Ravan's spies informed him of the monkey army's plan and Hanuman's mission. Determined to create obstacles, Ravan used his demonic powers to hinder Hanuman. On his way to the Himalayas, Hanuman encountered Kalnemi, a formidable demon sent by Ravan. Recognizing Kalnemi's intent to obstruct Lord Ram's mission, Hanuman engaged in battle with the demon. Despite Kalnemi's efforts, he was no match for Hanuman, who ultimately killed him.

Hanuman finally reached the mountain that held the magical herb. According to the demon doctor’s instructions, the herb that sparkled with light was the Sanjeevani. But to Hanuman's astonishment, light sparkled beneath all the herbs on the mountain. Realizing this was due to demonic magic and not wanting to waste precious time searching for the Sanjeevani, Hanuman lifted the entire mountain and carried it toward Lanka!

As Hanuman flew with the mountain in his hand, he passed through the city of Ayodhya. Bharat mistook him for a demon and shot an arrow at him. Injured by the arrow, Hanuman fell to the ground unconscious, uttering Ram's name as he descended. It was then that Bharat realized his grave mistake. He sprinkled water on Hanuman, reviving him. Hanuman briefly explained to Bharat what had transpired during Ram's exile.

Bharat was distressed that two of his brothers were in danger, and he couldn't help them. However, Hanuman consoled him, reassuring Bharat that Ram would prevail over the demons. With this, Hanuman continued his journey toward Lanka. The gods were pleased to see Hanuman flying as fast as the wind with Ram's name on his lips.

Hanuman reached the unconscious Lakshman before dawn. The demon physician Sushen carefully picked the Sanjeevani herb from the mountain Hanuman had brought. He extracted its juice and made Lakshman drink it. Lakshman slowly revived as if awakening from a deep sleep. Ram was overjoyed and hugged his beloved brother, and waves of happiness spread through the monkey army.

Meanwhile, Indrajeet began a special yagya. If successful, no one could defeat him. Vibheeshan recommended sending an army under Lakshman's leadership to disrupt the sacrifice. Vibheeshan, Hanuman, Lakshman, and some monkeys reached the mountain peak where Indrajeet was performing his yagya. The monkeys distracted Indrajeet and destroyed his yagya. Under normal circumstances, Ram would never order his army to destroy a yagya, but this one was being performed with evil intentions and was, therefore, unholy. The monkey army then agitated Indrajeet, forcing him to fight.
