The Thirsty Crow
It was a hot day, and a crow was feeling thirsty. He searched for water in his surroundings and saw an earthen pot. He went near it and cast a furtive look inside. There was a little water at the bottom of the pot.
The crow understood that it would have to overturn or break the pot to get the water. Both these options were beyond its power. Nevertheless, the crow did not give up hope and looked for another way to drink the water. It saw a lot of pebbles lying near the pot.
Suddenly, the crow had an idea: the crow began to put the stones inside the pot one at a time. The water level gradually rose as the crow filled the pot with pebbles. The crow's beak reached the water, and he drank to his heart's content.
Necessity is the mother of invention.
