Divine Destiny: The Story of Krishna's Son Pradyumna
Pradyumna, the son of Lord Krishna and Rukmini, was an avatar of Kamdev. Kamdev had been reduced to ash by Lord Shiv's third eye. When Shambarasur learned that Pradyumna was destined to become his killer, he abducted him as a baby and threw him into the sea.
A fish swallowed Pradyumna, and a fisherman caught that fish, which eventually reached Shambarasur's home. The cook found a baby boy inside the fish's stomach. The cook's wife, Mayawati, took care of the boy. Mayawati was, in reality, Kamdev's wife, goddess Rati.
As Pradyumna grew older, Mayawati understood that he was her husband Kamdev in a previous life. She told Pradyumna the whole story. He learned many magical techniques from her and finally fulfilled his destiny by killing Shambarasur.
Mayawati helped Pradyumna reach Krishna's palace at Dwarka. Upon seeing Pradyumna, Rukmini immediately realized that he was her son. Krishna and Rukmini welcomed him.
