The Birth of the Banyan Tree

A crow, a monkey, and an elephant were friends; however, they often disagreed about various topics. One day, they were relaxing under a banyan tree. 

"When you first saw this tree, what was its shape?" asked the monkey. 

"When I was a child, I used to rub my belly with its soft branches," replied the elephant.

"When I was young, I had eaten some berries and left the seeds here," said the crow. "This tree has grown from one of those seeds."

"Friends, when I first saw this tree, it was only a plant," said the monkey.

"Dear brother, it seems you're the oldest among us," said the monkey to the crow. "From now on, we will follow your advice."
