The Donkey and the Washerman

A poor washerman had a weak donkey that hardly received any food. One day, the washerman found a dead tiger. 

"I will put this tiger's skin over my donkey and let him graze on my neighbor's farm," soliloquized the washerman. "My neighbor will think it's a real tiger and get frightened while my donkey will leisurely graze."

The washerman immediately put his plan into action. One night, the donkey was grazing on the neighbor's farm when he heard a female donkey braying. Hearing her voice, he became excited and also started braying loudly. Hearing the donkey's voice, the farmer realized the truth and thoroughly beat up the donkey.

We mustn't hide the truth about ourselves.
