The Conceited Reindeer

There was a reindeer who often went to a pool to look at his reflection. "How beautiful my antlers are!" he would say to himself. If only my feet were also as beautiful."

One day, a lion followed the reindeer. The latter ran toward a thick jungle, but his antlers got stuck in a dense thicket. He felt his death was near and began cursing his antlers. Eventually, with the help of his firm feet, he freed himself from the thicket. After this, using his feet, he leaped and jumped and successfully eluded the lion.

The reindeer thanked his ugly feet for saving his life, whereas his beautiful antlers almost killed him. He felt his feet were more essential than antlers to keep him from trouble. After this, he never considered his feet ugly.
